Just.Do.It

There are exactly 90 days left in the year from today. You have two choices:

  1. F**k around, waste time by consuming content, and let life drift by
  2. Take control and do things

If you choose the first option, you are taking the easy way out, and guess what, doing easy things is convenient, anybody can do it. You are scrolling on LinkedIn, so are 1000s of other job seekers. You will get the job when you get started and apply for the job.

If you choose the second option, you can end the year with something tangible and full of positive momentum that will keep you motivated in the next year. Do hard things.

I commit to fully use the rest 90 days and focus on creating something.

Some areas of focus where I wanna do something but haven’t gotten started due to either analysis paralysis or straight-up laziness are these:

  1. Start a blog to help small and one-person businesses grow and scale with AI
  2. Data Science interview preparation content
  3. Dump all my ideas and write daily blogs on this one here
  4. Grow my podcast – One Book Smarter
  5. Create AI products — Saas from the perspective of growing my GitHub but also creating products that others can use and find value

While this might seem like a lot, it has been a long time coming because I have been delaying these for years. It’s time that I quit scrolling and start creating.

Specifically, block time every day where I am supposed to work on one of these and I cannot do anything else. This will work the best for this blog because I am going to be writing mostly my ideas and thoughts. Others I have to research and then create content. But even while researching, I get lost in different time sinks where I randomly look for celebrity news or other people’s words.

The motto here?

Just.Do.It.
